This activity speaks for itself and you likely don’t need many pointers. However, if you run out of things to do may we suggest one, more, or ALL of the following: an afternoon nap snuggled under the blankets, early morning walks in the fresh snow through the quiet forest, reading a good book beside a roaring fire, being one with nature right from your window, listening to the sound of silence as you’re drifting off to sleep, simply staring at the snow capped peak of Mt. Jefferson, a quiet afternoon with a scrabble board, or sharing conversation over a cup of hot chocolate. Any of these will most definitely put you in the right frame of mind to enjoy your time in the Metolius Basin.
