House on the Metolius is located two miles downriver from the Camp Sherman store, where the Metolius widens and bends through a natural meadow. Our five secluded and comfortable cabins are nestled beneath the pines on two-hundred acres of private land. Deer, osprey and the white-headed woodpecker are regular visitors. The views are among the finest in Oregon, with the snow-capped summits of Mount Jefferson and Three Finger Jack towering over a meadow framed in ponderosa pine. It is an ideal starting point for gentle riverside ambles or day-long hikes in the wilderness. Try your luck with the trout or just relax and enjoy the magical sound of the river. We hope you can join us at House on the Metolius.
