The fall months offer just as many recreational opportunities as the spring & summer months. However, morning temperatures can be a tad cooler so bring your woolies. Mid-day temperatures can be quite warm so bring your shorts! Fall tends to be a bit quieter out on the trails whether walking, hiking or biking. The deer are coming back home and preparing for winter, as are the squirrels and birds. The town of Sisters offers many weekend activities from music festivals to street fairs. We would highly recommend a ½ day road trip over the McKenzie Highway, before it closes for the winter, to take in the fall colors – don’t forget your camera!
