We are extremely lucky to find the Metolius Basin surrounded by the Deschutes National Forest. There are miles of bike trails to keep you & your family safe and out of the path of traffic. A 3-mile loop takes you along the river to the Camp Sherman Store, a good stopping point for cool refreshments. Slated for 2010, a new 6 mile trail that will connect Camp Sherman to Suttle Lake—another great option as you stay over to enjoy lunch or an early dinner at the Boathouse Restaurant.
